赫福德郡大學（University of Hertfordshire）的地理位置可以說是相當便利!位在Hatfield的Hertfordshire，鄰近英國三個國際機場，首先是英國第一大機場希斯洛（Heathrow），這也是歐洲最忙碌的機場之一，另外二個則分別是遊歷歐洲國家時必經過的盧頓機場（Luton Airport）及史丹斯德機場（StanstedAirport）對於有計畫趁在較長假期到歐洲旅行的同學們十分的方便。對英國留學的學生來說，交通也很方便。

此地離倫敦也非常近，學校附近的公車站牌有Green Line797可以直達倫敦市中心的交通樞紐維多利亞公車站（Victoria Station），時間約為一個小時左右，而且只要注意好公車來到時間，再從宿舍出發到站牌，Green Line797是十分準時的喔！當然，火車也是拜訪倫敦的一個好方法，搭乘火車到倫敦的國王十字站（King's Cross）僅僅需二十五分鐘。從校門口搭乘直達公車到倫敦市中心，也大約25分鐘。Hertfordshire鄰近大倫敦地區，卻又能避開大城市的喧嘩，在這個純住宅區裡享受寧靜的渡過求學生活。擁有倫敦繁華的便利及熱鬧的氛圍，又同時可以避開倫敦的高房租及高物價。生活在Hertfordshire, 跟其它的英國城市的消費是差不多的。此校優異的地理位置，獲得學生一置的喜愛。

特別提的一點是：赫福德郡大學（University of Hertfordshire）的St. Albans校區就在法院旁邊，而部分課程及案例就是從法院直接變成課堂上的教案。此種授課方式只有倫敦大學國王學院（King's College, University of London）才有。

學校福利設備包含保健中心、托兒所、諮詢中心、國際學生事務中心等。如果有人要帶五歲以下小孩到英國學校者，這將會是一個最好的選擇。

赫福德郡大學（University of Hertfordshire）生活機能也很健全，提供住宿和學會，並提供外籍學生諮詢服務，幫助學生解決問題；所有大學生及一年課程以上之研究生均有第一年住宿保證。另有醫療、看護設施，並提供有需要之學生免費英語輔導及諮詢。
