康乃狄克州 （Connecticut）

康乃狄克州座落於由綿延山脈、城市天際線與沙灘海岸線環繞著的美國東北部。是美國最早成立的十三州之一，歷史悠久，亦是長春藤盟校之一：耶魯大學的故鄉，而殖民時期留下的尖頂教堂以及歷史小村落共同記錄著美國近代史上重要的一頁。

做為全美人均財富最高的一州，康乃狄克無疑是一個現代商業化的中心，州內隨處可見的事現代高架橋、摩登商業大樓，然而康乃狄克州卻也同時擁有幅員廣闊的自然風光：高達15個國家公園位在本州。田園美景與繁榮的都市相互呼應，矛盾卻不唐突，兩者交織而成一獨特的景緻。

康乃狄克州南鄰紐約州，北接波士頓，是美東沿岸四通八達的據點。

Within its compact borders, Connecticut has forested hills, new urban skylines, and shoreline beaches. Connecticut is located in the northeast of the United States and is home of one of the Ivy League Schools: Yale University. As one of the original Thirteen Colonies, white-steeple colonial churches, and historic village greens can be seen everywhere in the state, and these are also witnesses to the history of America.

As the state that has the highest per capita wealth, Connecticut is a modern business centre. Expressways, and great corporate offices are everywhere in the state. However, Connecticut is also a state which is rich in natural landscape: there are fifteen national parks inside the state. We can say Connecticut is a thriving center of business, as well as a vacation land.

It is both a New England state and neighbor to New York City and Boston.
