愛荷華州（Iowa）

Iowa, the Hawkeye State, is located in the central of the United States. With abundant rain during spring time and warm summer sunshine, Iowa is full of fertile and rolling prairies and is one of the foremost farming states within the nation. The splendid weather and environment give an idea home for corn and soybeans. One fifth of the nation's corn harvest is produced in Iowa. Although agriculture is the mainstay of the economy, Iowa has also encouraged the growth of manufacturing and service industries: high end manufacturing, financial banking, biological technology and green power etc. have allowed Iowa to become an economically-diversified state.

If you are really sold on the rural landscape of Iowa and decide to come here for farming, make sure you have the appropriate equipment to do so! In order make farming more effective, Iowa produced the first gasoline-powered tractor in 1892, built by John Froelich of Clayton County. Today, the state claims the largest tractor manufacturing plant in the U.S.
