但丁大學（University of Dundee）在２００６年８月將院系的設置改為四個學院，各學院裡又包含了一些系所。除此之外，其中有兩個院所有自己特殊的機構和組織。每個學院皆設置一個副校長為首，而由一名院長實質的帶領院務運作。
但丁大學（University of Dundee）之學院成立於１８８２年，在１９６７年由皇家憲章核準成為獨立的Dundee大學。該校以友善及安全著名，十分適合居住及唸書。附近有蘇格蘭最美麗且歷史悠久的風景名勝。距離所有蘇格蘭主要城市與機場只要一個小時車程，搭乘火車到倫敦需６小時。

設備
但丁大學（University of Dundee）有現代化大學應有的學術設備，包括絕佳的圖書館及開放式電腦設備。所有的學生都是學會與運動社團的會員，由這兩個社團負責管理學生社團與運動俱樂部。該校提供英語課程給需要增進英語能力以達到入學資格的學生。而應用語言學研究中心為想要在英國大學唸學位課程的國際學生提供學術目的英語課程，於一月及九月開課的學期前密集英語學習課程，加強學生在語言方面的能力。該校的語言中心並於學期中提供英語支援課程。在英國留學期間，可以好好利用這些資源。
住宿資訊
但丁大學（University of Dundee）提供絕佳且價格合理的學生宿舍給就讀第一年的單身學生，還有提供給已婚學生的合適公寓，但攜帶家眷者，則建議提早申請，特別是子女也一同前來者。許多國際學生偏好在學校的宿舍與公寓待一年以上。學校另外也提供輔導、諮詢、生涯和健康服務處。
