牛津布魯克斯大學（Oxford Brookes University，簡稱OBU）始建於１８６５年，是為原為藝術學校；１９７０年成為牛津技術學院，其後正式升格成為大學。

牛津布魯克斯大學（Oxford Brookes University）有校園三處，距市中心交通便捷，分別位於Gipsy Lane Campus、Wheatley Campus和Headington Hill Hall Campus。學校以聯合榮譽本科學位（JOINT HONOURS SUBJECT）著稱，採用美式學分制，專業選擇可高達４０門。該大學的教育水準和在教學方面的勇於革新而知名於世，並連續五年被評為最成功的英國新大學。

牛津市人口約十五萬人。牛津被認為是【有著夢幻般尖塔的城市】，也是一座充滿年輕活力的都會，在此不難找到大型購物餐飲休閒場所。有許多異國餐廳像是黎巴嫩、泰國、法國和牙買加餐廳。雖然牛津的古典建築聞名於世，但它的廣大綠地如公園、花園和田園風景也相當優美。這裡有３００多個學生社團，像是：和氣道、音樂、戲劇和媒體（２個學生報紙和一個電台）。牛津學生會是學校最大的學生社團，經常舉辦學術權威的辯論會和演講。多數學院設有英國國教堂和基督教教堂，市區內也有衛理教和浸信教教會、猶太教中心、伊斯蘭教學習中心、清真寺和佛教社團。

從牛津去往英國各地和歐洲旅行，交通十分方便。這裏的鐵路運輸和長途客運都很發達，到倫敦希斯洛國際機場只有一小時的路程。

牛津市郊考利是寶馬迷你（BMW MINI）的製造地之一。

牛津布魯克斯大學（Oxford Brookes University）位於歷史名城牛津市內的山坡上，俯瞰牛津大學城，距離倫敦市約８０公里，搭火車、巴士到倫敦市區及倫敦機場都相當方便。對英國留學的學生來說，交通便利。

大學圖書館藏書超過３０萬冊期刊量２４００份，有各類參考書籍，公司報告、資料等。館內配備多媒體等各種設施，包括連接網路機房２５間，每間都配備有雷射印表機，其中１２間為全天２４小時、全年２６５天開放。

校方針對學生的服務有諮詢、就業指導、住宿、宿舍管理、護理以及上門醫務服務。並為來自海外的學生、成人學生和殘疾學生設有專門顧問指導人員。校內有酒吧、商店、銀行和娛樂場所。體育中心內有羽毛球和壁球場地；舞廳，舉重房，攀岩設施，１２個網球場，運動場，高爾夫場地，人體運動技能實驗室，體操館。７５％以上的新學生住在大學宿舍，共有３０００個位置。這些都是在英國留學期間可以利用的學習資源。

國際學生在就讀期間可住在學校宿舍，也可自行租房，學校會提供幫助。

住宿方式有下列幾種：
學校宿舍，國際學生在整個學習期間都可以住校，６５－８２英鎊／周（單人雅房、不包餐）；７０－９０英鎊／周（單人套間，包餐）；按學期繳納。

校外租房，５５鎊／周（不包食）；６０鎊／周（包早餐）；７２鎊／周（包餐）

住在英國當地人家庭，８５－９０鎊／周（僅包早晚餐）

分租住房：大約５４鎊／周
