格拉摩根大學（University of Glamorgan）的前身是一所創建於1913年的學院，學院成立不久便改為理工學院，最終于１９９２年成為大學。

University of Glamorgan（格拉摩根大學）位在威爾斯，其有四個校區分別為Trefforest、Glyntaff、 Merthyr Tydfil和Cardiff（卡地夫）。它是唯二位在威爾斯而又完全獨立於威爾斯大學聯邦的學校。該校有兩個學生宿舍皆位在Trefforest校區。

格拉摩根大學（University of Glamorgan）的80多年的教學歷史、極具時尚魅力的現代化教學設施和被大自然環抱的動感校園，吸引著來自世界 各地60多個國家的優秀學子。目前18，000多名學生（包括來自數十個國家的2000多名海外學生，約占學生總數的11%左右）在一個安全和完善的校區 內生活和學習。因此在英國留學期間，可以交到許多不同的外國朋友。

University of Glamorgan（格拉摩根大學）位於南威爾斯的Treforest區，離威爾斯首府卡地夫僅有20分鐘的路程，離倫敦則有兩個小時。卡地夫市與全英的高速公路網路相連，並位於所有主要的交通幹線之上。除了校園生活之外，學生可受益于靠近其他娛樂與社交場所，如主要的音樂會和體育場所、酒吧、夜總會、餐館、電影院和購物中心。新建的多螢幕電影院離大學幾英里遠，坐落在Pontypridd鎮。這裏除了主要商業大街上人所熟知的各種商店之外，還有每週兩天的室內與室外集市。此外，還有帶電影院、劇院和音樂廳的藝術中心。

University of Glamorgan（格拉摩根大學）附近就有火車站，每半個小時就有火車來往卡地夫（Cardiff）與龐特普里德市（Pontypridd），旅途需20分鐘。定時運營的火車連接山谷區和Treforest鎮。卡地夫市的國際機場，有定時直飛航班來往於歐洲大陸。如學生要去倫敦希斯洛機場，則他們可乘坐市際火車或長途客車抵達。對英國留學的學生來說，交通方便。

學費訊息:
格拉摩根大學官方建議，為負擔一整年支出(含住宿、膳食、書籍、消遣等)，國際學生需預備至少8,500英鎊。
