學校資訊

瑞丁大學是由牛津大學於西元1892年設立，後於1926年獲頒皇家特許狀，准許自行授予學位。

本校有四個學院:經濟社科院、人文藝術學院、科學院、生命科學院。在全國教學品質保證評估中，本校受檢的二十二個科目中目前有超過百分之八十再總分二十四當中得到二十一以上。對這些科系有興趣的同學，來英國留學不妨考慮這所學校。

而學校於地方、國家及國際層面中，皆擁有漫長的研究、教育及訓練傳統。1998年，瑞丁在高等與進階教育的領域中獲得「女王周年獎」Queen's Anniversary Prize，並於2005年再度獲得該獎。

本校極為注重研究所的課程以及專業領域的研究，是英國擁有最佳地理位置的大學之一，在瑞丁一共有三個校區，分別是Whiteknights（最大校區—距離瑞丁市中心約3公里），Bulmershe Court（教育學院所在地）和位於London Road（Gyosei International College所在地）的校舍。

瑞丁大學擁有大約3000名來自120個國家的國際學生，大大地活絡了該鎮的多元文化環境。

環境

瑞丁位在英國柏克郡的小鎮，位於泰晤士河及肯奈河的匯流之處。

瑞丁在中世紀是個重要的中心樞紐，為一處與皇室有密切聯繫修道院的所在地。該鎮於17世紀遭受嚴重的經濟衝擊，其後花費了許多時間重振修復。現今，它又再度成為英國重要商業中心，與資訊科技及保險業蓬勃發展。瑞丁同時也是一個著名的大學城，擁有兩座大學及為數眾多的學生。

設備

校區內有完善的圖書館、運動中心、休閒中心、餐廳、醫療中心、托兒所、國際學生事務中心等設備供學生使用。這些資源是在英國留學期間可以好好利用的。

住宿資訊

在八月一日以前決定到本校就讀全日制大學部課程的所有英國留學學生與國際學生都能保證分配到學校的宿舍。至於希望在校外住宿的學生，本校的住宿搜尋服務也會協助他們在Reading 區域尋找合適的住宿空間。
