倫敦都會大學(London Metropolitan University) 於２００２年由倫敦市政廳大學 （London Guildhall University） 及北倫敦大學 （University of North London） 合併而成。目前學生人數大約有３４,０００人，是全英第三大的綜合性公立大學，也是倫敦地區最大的大學。

 

 

環境

倫敦 （London） 位於英國南部，座落在國內最長流域泰晤士河 （River Thames）上，為其首都，規劃３３個分區，為歐洲區最具規模的現代都市之一。歷史可回溯至羅馬時期的建立，經過近２千年的洗禮，倫敦一直被視為世界上最重要、具影響力的都市之一，其藝術時尚、政治經濟、商業財務、教育娛樂、傳播媒體、觀光旅遊均為世界先驅，與法國巴黎、美國紐約、日本東京並列四大國際級城市。

自維多利亞時期，倫敦的交通運輸有了近一步發展，啟用第一座地鐵、公車營運、鐵路規劃、機場擴建，現今英國擁有世上最具規模的交通樞紐。其中市區的核心交通系統 - 地鐵 （Underground/Overground） 已成為世界上最古老的交通建築，載客量居歐洲區第三位。大倫敦區共有六座主要的國際機場，其中希思羅機場 （Heathrow Airport） 為最繁忙的國際機場，其次為蓋威克機場 （Gatwick Airport），搭乘火車/地鐵約４０分鐘可抵市中心。此外，設有十分便捷的鐵路、公車，可直達英國各大城市，以及泰晤士河沿岸的港口，為海運/貿易的重要樞紐之一。

設備

學校設施包含: 五個主要運動設施、舞蹈室、表演空間、視聽中心、還有許多酒吧、咖啡廳與餐廳。

倫敦城市大學提供給學生國家級的最先進設施，以協助學生學習和發展廣，這些專業設施，包括:

七間圖書館

內含兩個精彩​​特殊的收藏－國際知名婦女的圖書館，座落於翻新的維多利亞式建築物裡;和工會代表大會圖書館收藏。新裝修的學習中心和圖書館是一個極好的會議及研究學生中心，內設個人及團體的讀書活動空間，其中包括媒體展位和咖啡廳。

科學中心

斥資３０萬英鎊打造，是歐洲最大的教學實驗室之一，超級實際室Super Lab 提供給學生最先進的學習經驗，可虛擬旅遊。

科技大廈

位於北校區，設有７個樓層的電腦室，設有無線網路、模擬彭博交易大廳、數位媒體器材，如: 錄音室、多媒體工作室等。

教學設備

飛機模仿訓練裝置 - 為航空學生的寶貴資源。

模擬法庭 - 有助於法律專業學生為真實生活狀況做準備。

體育和娛樂設施 - 包括兩座現代化的健身場館和奧運標準籃球場。

 

校園內亦有固定的舞廳與樂團表演；提供給學生廣泛的協助及服務，包括: 住宿、宗教支持、長短期的實習、生涯諮詢、就業諮詢、簽證諮詢和英文協助。

住宿資訊

宿舍選擇多樣，大學一年級的學生及研究所一年制的學生，在期限內提出申請，學校保證可以申請到學校住宿。學生也可以自行在外租屋或選擇豪華型的公寓。
