敏寺大學（University of Westminster）創建於１８３８年，西敏寺大學已有１５０多年教導留學生的經驗。擁有２４,０００位學生，西敏寺大學（University of Westminster）是英國最大型的學府之一也是英國最多元化且國際化的大學。該校提供的課程包括學士、碩士、博士、文憑課程，以及海外留學、交換學生、暑期進修和英語語言課程，語言課程選擇多樣化，包含：

其目前校園主體為早期的攝政街理工學院（Regent Street Polytechnic），已有１５０左右的歷史，是英國第一所針對勞工階級提供成人教育的機構。其後在１９７１年合併了霍伯恩法商語言學院（Holborn College of Law, Languages and Commerce）後，改稱作倫敦理工學院（London Polytechnic）。１９９２年由於《１９９２年高等教育法》的通過，變更為現今的校名。
