格林威治大學（University of Greenwich）建於1891年，前身是Woolwich工技學院，這是英國第二所綜合工技學院，在18世紀的皇家軍械庫遺址附近，最近合併的皇家海軍學院，改名為格林威治海軍大學，學校將成為PCET、計算機與數學、法律學院基地。

格林威治大學（University of Greenwich）有五個主要的校區都位於倫敦東南部和肯特郡，格林威治位於倫敦二三區交界，交通便捷，可通往城市、鄉村和海濱地區，乘火車或乘坐地鐵到倫敦市中心不超過一小時。格林威治的地理位置相當方便，易於到達朝氣蓬勃倫敦市中心，所有吸引人的藝術文化或是流行時尚皆在不遠的距離，格林威治同時又能遠離市中心的喧囂，而能提供給一般民眾相當好的住宅環境，學生亦可在一個較為安靜的環境下學習。格林威治最有名的要算是他的格林威治時間，還有一大遍寬廣優美的格林威治公園，假日常見遊客和一家大小在此地悠閒的野餐、玩耍。讓你在英國留學之餘，也有休閒娛樂。格林威治鎮上也有許多餐廳、商店等等，足以應付您一般生活所需的各項民生用品。

在倫敦和肯特地區學習使學生有機會享受當地舉行的文化、社交與體育活動。本校在倫敦與肯特地區的校園有三處，再加上Kings Hill學院。學生從各個校園去到倫敦，都很方便；某些學生還可額外享受靠近鄉村的優越性。由於校園臨近歐洲之星的倫敦Waterloo站、肯特的 Ashford站，以及英吉利海峽邊上的各碼頭，所以學生去探索歐洲其他地區，都比較容易。

倫敦和英格蘭東南部的天氣變幻無常。夏日裏的日平均氣溫為19°c（不過有時會達到30°c），冬天為5°c。
